An Op-ed is an opinion piece which represents an individual’s personal view.

Opinion pieces will be selected for publication based on their relevancy to current affairs on the local Los Angeles; statewide California or US national levels; a word count of no more than 700 words; and the writer’s respect for grammar and punctuation. Submitted pieces may be edited by our staff for concision.
