Broadsides & News Sheets: Electronic & Print
Broadside editions are 17 in x 11 inches.
News Sheets editions are 8.5 in x 11 inches.
All editions are electronic and appear on both our website and via e-Newsletters to our subscribers. Select issues are also put through a print run. There are no additional charges for ads that also appear in print. Print issues are distributed through our partner vendors in the Los Angeles area. Currently, we do NOT publish ads on our front pages; nor do we run full-page ads.
Broadside ads will appear at our discretion on pages 2, 3 or 4.
News Sheets ads only appear on page 2.
To keep the process simple, we have one price for multiple sizes.
Color and Black & White are the same price! Broadside and News Sheets rates are the same price!
Image Specifications:
Images submitted should be ‘pixel perfect’ for size increases & reductions; and for cross browser compatability on multiple platforms: desktop; tablet and mobile. We publish banner, cube and column ads.
For Digital Image Capture, use a resolution of at least 200 pixels per inch (ppi) for consistent tone images scanned at their final image size. Images can be uploaded in JPEG, TIFF or PDF file. Files should be 3.22 inches wide by 7.00 inches tall at 300 dpi. The limit on file size is 10 MB.
Publishing Schedule:
Broadsides ads should be uploaded to us no later than 8pm PST on the 2nd Wednesday of each month for publication on the 3rd and/or 4th Thursdays of each month.
News Sheets ads should be uploaded to us no later than 8pm PST on Wednesdays of each week for publication between Thursday–Sunday to be determined by news cycle.

Broadsides & News Sheets:
Up to 1/8 page: $125
1/8 page – 1/4 page: $175
1/4 page – 1/2 page: $275
1/2 page – 3/4 page: $325
For sequential 2nd runs, reduce the cost across sizes by $50.
Tabloid ads run for a duration of 7-days.
News Sheets ads stay viewable on our website’s News Sheets section for 2-weeks.
We do not have a joint rate for running ads simultaneously on both our Broadside and News Sheets editions.
Our advertising staff will e-mail a tear sheet to the client upon completion of the prepress layout.
Audioticle: Audio ads appear on our Home Page in our Audioticle section.
Up to:
15-sec: $125 | 25-sec: $175
45-sec: $225 | 1-min: $275
Video: Video ads appear on multiple pages between our Home Page, Broadside and News Sheets pages.
Up to:
10-sec: $225 | 20-sec: $325
30-sec: $400 | 45-min: $475
1-min: $525

What We Do NOT Advertise:
Pharmaceuticals; Adult Content; Cosmetic Procedures; Tobacco Products; Gaming Sites; Gambling Establishments; Calls to Action; Political Candidates or Initiatives; Sexually Suggestive Depictions; Weaponry; Alcoholic Products;
and any other advertising not listed here which we find objectionable per our discretion.
